Delhi CM under House arrest alleges AAP, Delhi Police rejects claim

New Delhi, 8/12: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has been put under house arrest by Delhi Police, after his return from Singhu border on Monday, claims Aam Aadmi Party.

AAP through a Tweet have alleged that  Arvind Kejriwal has been put under house arrest-like conditions since Monday after he returned from the Singhu border, where he met farmer’s leader. All meetings of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have been cancelled. AAP MLA Saurabh Bhardwaj has said, “Our MLAs are also not being allowed to meet the CM. We will march to the CM’s house and meet him and get him out of the house so that he can stand with the farmers.”

In a tweet, AAP has said, “BJP’s Delhi Police has put Hon’ble CM Shri @ArvindKejriwal under house arrest ever since he visited farmers at Singhu Border yesterday. No one has been permitted to leave or enter his residence.”

Delhi Police has refused to accept the claims by AAP. DCP North has said the allegations are a lie and baseless. “Our force is stationed there. Arvind Kejriwal left at 8 pm yesterday and also after 10 pm,” he said.
