Non -Muslim lawyers banned from contesting election in Pakistan

Multan,11/1: The Multan bar association has barred the non-muslim lawyers from contesting bar council elections. This is another case of the subjugation of the minorities in Pakistan. The resolution which was passed in the bar council of Multan stated that lawyers contesting bar elections will also need to submit an affidavit to prove their faith in Islam.

There is also discrimination reported in Islamabad minorities in Pakistan like the Hindu, the Muslims and  Christians, Sikhs, Ahmadiyyas, and Shias. They were the more prosecuted minorities in that area.
