Farmers’ Protest: SC Puts Three farm laws on Hold

New Delhi, 12/1: The Supreme Court of India has put a hold on three farm laws until further notice. SC heard the petitions related to the farm laws on Tuesday. The Supreme Court has also set up a four-member committee to give a report to the court on the farm laws.

A Supreme court bench headed by the CJI SA Bobde heard a number of pleas related to the farm laws and criticized the government for its handling of the situation.
