Google Pay to support Tap-To-pay feature

India’s most popular digital payment app is Google Pay. Now, this digital payment app will get a new feature. Google has announced that Google’s Tap-to-Pay feature in India will now support visa cards issued by Axis Bank and State Bank of India.

This feature can be used to make contactless payments with NFC built-in POS. The feature is that payments will be made through digital tokens without card details being shared. According to the company, the new facility will allow Google Pay users to pay more than 2.5 million VISA merchants and more than 1.5 million Bharat QR built-in merchants’ contactless payments.

So now this feature is only available for visa card users for Axis Bank and SBI users. But soon it could be included in other banks. The company has made this arrangement to make secure payments to customers. The token facility will help customers to make secure transactions.
