JP Nadda and Kailash Vijayvargiya of BJP attacked In West Bengal.
BJP leaders JP Nadda and Kailash Vijayvargiya’s covoys were attacked in Bengal as both were visiting the state to campaign for Bengal elections.
Kolkata, 10/12: BJP leader JP Nadda and Kailash Vijayvargiya’s vehicles were attacked with stones when both of them were on their to Diamond Harbour on Thursday to meet party workers for the Bengal elections in 2021.
Stones were thrown at BJP national president JP Nadda’s convoy on way to Diamond Harbour in West Bengal, alleged Bengal BJP chief Dilip Ghosh. Kailash Vijayvargiya’s convoy was also attacked on Thursday and stones were hurled at his vehicle. Vijayvargiya has shared a video showing a cracked windshield of the car he is travelling in.
Dilip Ghosh said, “On our way to Diamond Harbour, TMC supporters blocked the road and pelted Naddaji’s vehicle and other cars in the convoy with stones. This only shows the true colour of the TMC.”
Reacting to the charges against the ruling Trinamool Congress, party leader Madan Mitra said, “Their own goondas are indulging in violence.” Madan Mitra also denied any involvement of the TMC in the attack and said the protests by locals were a “people’s revolt”.
