No Second Chance for those who missed UPSC Prelims due to COVID 19

New Delhi, 22/1: The Central Government has conveyed its decision to the Supreme Court that it will not give another chance to those who missed the UPSC Prelims due to COVID 19 and it was their last chance. The matter will be heard next on January 25.

The students had filed a petition in the Supreme Court asking for an extra attempt in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The UPSC Prelims 2020 for Civil Services Preliminary and Indian Forest Services Preliminary Examination 2020 was held on October 4 this year amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The prelims result was declared on October 24. Around  10.58 lakh candidates had registered for the UPSC civil services examination prelims.
