Biggest one-day Corona surge in the Country this year, 89,000 people tests positive for Coronavirus

New Delhi, 3/4: After 89,129 new cases of COVID-19 in India in the last 24 hours, the total number of positive cases increased to 1,23,92,260. After 714 new deaths, the total number of deaths has increased to 1,64,110. The total number of active cases in the country is 6,58,909 and the total number of discharged cases is 1,15,69,241.

The condition of Maharashtra is more worrisome in the states affected from Corona. NCP leader Nawab Malik has said, Corona cases in Maharashtra are going to be close to 50,000 per day. There is no other option but to take stern steps. If the figures keep increasing, there may be a shortage of beds. The Chief Minister held a meeting with the officials yesterday. Whatever restrictions are to be imposed, the government will take a decision after 2 days.

In Thane district of Maharashtra alone, 4,371 new cases of coronavirus have been reported, after which the total number of infected people has reached 3,27,732. After the death of 15 patients from Corona virus infection, the number of people who lost their lives to Covid-19 in the district has reached 6,525. An official said that the death rate from Covid-19 is 1.99 percent. According to another official, the number of cases of Covid-19 in the neighboring Palghar district has gone up to 51,043, while the death toll has reached 1,232.
