Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress workers detained by Police! Know the details here

New Delhi, 24/12: Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress workers were arrested by Delhi Police as they were marching towards the Rashtrapati Bhawan to submit a memorandum of 2 crore signatures against the Centre’s farm reform laws. The march was led by Rahul Gandhi.

Delhi Police stopped the march, while the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi went to meet the President Ramnath Kovind with the signatures.

“Any dissent against this government is classified as having elements of terror. We are undertaking this march to voice our support for the farmers”, Priyanka Gandhi said after the march was stopped.

“We’re living in a democracy and they are elected MPs. They have the right to meet the President and they should be allowed. What is the problem with that? Government is not ready to listen to voices of lakhs of farmers camping at borders” she added.
