New Delhi(Cape Town), 8/12: The One-day international Series between South Africa and England stands cancelled after a lot of delays and postponements. The delays were the result of rising coronavirus cases within the bio bubble.
The joint statement of both the cricket boards read “The decision was taken jointly by the two Boards to ensure the mental and physical health and welfare of players from both teams. “CSA and the ECB will now work together to determine when the three-match series, which forms part of the ICC Cricket Men’s Super League, can take place in the future.,” the release added.
It is to be noted that the first and second ODIs were cancelled after numerous delays and postponements. Finally the series was called off on Tuesday.
