Infant Death toll rises to 107 in Kota

Kota, 4/1: Seven more infants died in the new year as the situation is looking grim in the JK Lon hospital in Kota. The total death toll reached a worryingly 107.

Lok Sabha Speaker & MP from Kota, Om Birla met the family members of one of the infants who died in JK Lon Hospital today.

Union Health Minister Dr. Harshbardhan wrote a letter to Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot to look into this matter in this alarming situation.

Low birth weight and improper facilities of ICU is said to be the chief cause of death of infants. A central team consisting of 6 members of AIIMS Delhi doctors reached JK Lon hospital.
